About the conference:

Over the past years, we have seen and heard significant concerns from employees, students, women and children in our communities, schools and churches, the issues of immigration, race, forced marriage at an early age in Africa, poor health care/poor educational facilities in Africa, peace building and reconciliation and the role of the church in the development of a nation. If we do not address these issues, we are at risk of loosing great values, opportunities and talents in our communities. As a church based nonprofit organization in Canada, USA and Africa, we are charged with the responsibilities to foster peace and sharpen the destiny of our world.

The Humanitarian Aid Society International Incorporated is a Canadian registered Nonprofit Church based Organization in London Ontario, HAS Int’L in collaboration with Loads of Love in Chatham Ontario do provide aid in Liberia, Sierra Leone, the Ivory Cost, Ghana and Guinea, and with our prison Ministries in Ontario, Canada and in Charlotte North Carolina, USA. Our focus is reaching the whole world with the whole word of God, our ministry is holistic. We have embarked on the establishment /construction of a school, a church and a school-based clinic to help provide quality primary education through the guidance of Christian principles to meet the needs of single mothers, youths, adolescent girls, ebola affected children and other people in need in those vulnerable communities in Africa.

This is a solid pathway to improved livelihood attainment, spiritual growth and development. This will enhance our work to ensure that the lost sheep is found. Church-based education is essential for combating ignorance, misunderstanding of Christianity and Christ being the savior of mankind. More needs to be done to guarantee freedom of conscience and Christian expression to foster education on Christianity. This will also promote the culture and social expression of Christianity in our society.

We encourage youths to attend this Global Initiative Conference, youths/children are a vital part of what we do and helping them through our work challenges us to keep pushing forward and onward in kindness, care and love. We seek to bring smiles to the faces of children, youths, women and the less privileged. We work together in love and unity to bring humanitarian aid to the needy around the world.

Our Project Overview & Funds Raising during the Global Initiative Conference In London, Ontario 2024:

Although basic education is considered a free commodity and a fundamental right of the child, it is still not easily accessible for girls and boys in the Jones Town Community, Brewerville City, Montserrado County, Liberia. Particularly for girls whose parents died to Ebola in 2014/2015 in Liberia. The project is all about addressing the educational, health care and spiritual needs of these girls and boys and other people residing in the Jones Town community and the skills training need of the youths (adolescent mothers and vulnerable young men ) in Brewerville city and surrounding areas.

Five hundred and seventy (570) students (400 girls and 170 boys) affected by the Ebola in 2014/2015 in Brewerville Liberia are currently attending one of our sponsored schools (Emar Kingdom Foundation school), we do provide day programs and feeding programs for these students. Humanitarian Aid Society International Inc, has secured one acre of land in Brewerville city. The school name: GRACE ACADEMIC VOCATIONAL INSTITUTE (GAVI LIBERIA) is mainly GIRLS EDUCATIONAL PROJECT.

To achieve our goal of raising one hundred twenty nine thousand, eight hundred and thirteen United States Dollars and ninety nine cents, ( $129,813.99), the Humanitarian Aid Society International Inc. along with its International Partners in Canada, the United States and Africa will be hosting a fund raising program during the Global Initiative Conference in London Ontario to help women and children in Africa. Funds raise go towards the construction of a school/church and clinic in Liberia. under the Theme: "Networking for a common goal to achieve a common purpose”.
